MyPolitIQ Winner @ Mini-Seedcamp Warsaw!

MyPolitIQ was chosen as 1 of the 4 winners, among the 20 finalist start-up teams, of the Mini-Seedcamp Warsaw event held on 18th March at the Agora center in Warsaw, Poland.

Mini-Seedcamp Warsaw was a one day event aiming to connect Eastern Europe's start-up community with the wider European ecosystem. The event brought together 20 of the region's best seed stage tech start-ups with experienced entrepreneurs, investors, and developers from Poland and all over Europe to participate in a day of intense mentoring, panel discussions and presentations. It was a very enjoyable environment & event, with very constructive feedback from investors, developers and entrepreneurs for our team! :)

The MyPolitIQ voter-to-candidate matching tool allows users to match their preferences to candidate preferences, using an objective and professionally designed matching questionnaire, based on a validated methodology.

MyPolitIQ aims to implement the system, as of the 18th of March, during the 2009 European Parliament elections in the following countries: Lithuania (http://www.manobalsas.lt ), Poland (http://www.glosuje.com.pl ), Latvia, &Estonia.

Winning the Mini-Seedcamp Warsaw event has validated MyPolitIQ's idea and allows MyPolitIQ to continue developing the product with the option to attend other Mini Seedcamps! MyPolitIQ is open to hearing from potential partners (higher education institutions and independent non-government organizations focused on e-democracy and/or civil society development) across the CEE and EU countries - for the upcoming EU Parliament elections, as well as organizations globally.
